DUFF is about this girl named Bianca. She is the "designated, ugly, fat friend". Her life is difficult. Her mother isn't always home because she wrote a book about self-esteem and she goes all over America to do speeches and signings for her book. Her father was a use to be alcoholic. He stopped when Bianca was born. Bianca's life is getting worse by the second. This guy, Wesley, is using her to get her best friends. "Look," he said ," you have hot friends...really hot friends." he paused, watching the action on the dance floor for a moment, before facing me again. "The point is. scientists have proven that every group of friends have a weak link, a Duff. Girls respond well to guys who associate with their Duffs." Bianca wants to escape all the tragedy of her life by using Wesley. She soon learns that his life isn't as neat and pretty as seen on the outside. Thanks for reading this post about The DUFF.
