World War III has left the world ravaged by nuclear radiation. A lucky few escaped to the Alaskan wilderness. They've survived for the last thirty years by living off the land, being one with nature, and hiding from whoever else might still be out there.
At least, this is what Juneau has been told her entire life.
When Juneau returns from a hunting trip to discover that everyone in her clan has vanished, she sets off to find them. Leaving the boundaries of their land for the very first time, she learns something horrifying: There never was a war. Cities were never destroyed. The world is intact. Everything was a lie.
Now Juneau is adrift in a modern-day world she never knew existed. But while she's trying to find a way to rescue her friends and family, someone else is looking for her. Someone who knows the extraordinary truth about the secrets of her past.

Juneau and Miles. The two main characters. They are from two basically different dimension. Miles is from modern day and Juneau is from an isolated area in the middle of Alaska. Juneau and Miles were forced to work together because Miles needs Juneau and Juneau needs Miles. My mom thought the cover of this book looked scary. I had counter thoughts about reading this book afterwards. As usual, the first chapter was hard. It was boring like every other first chapter. This book is nothing like you think it's going to be like. There are a lot of twist and turns; you have to look ahead to see which direction it might go next. Don't spoil the book. Well it won't make any sense anyways but just don't, you'll ruin it!

Miles and Juneau are like meant to be. Um... their ship name is Mineau or Jules. This book in three words are magical, romantic, loyalty

I rate this book a 5/5. It was really good and it teaches that magic is really.

I hope you enjoy reading this book because you're going to read it right? It's an extravagant book. Enjoy! <3 ya!!! BAI!!! Also what do you guys think of the new book review style? Like it?
