Memory Lane Monday!

In honor of Back To School, I am doing a post about all the things that are different from now a day school and back in my days. Okay that makes me sound old. I am only 12 so not a lot should have changed. 

So first thing I can think of that changed is the projector. I know some of my teachers still use there projector. Now a day they use Elmo's I think that's how you spell it. I thought the Elmo was somehow related to the Sesame Street Elmo but I don't think so...

Second thing that has change is what we write on. My middle school is starting to implement chrome books and iPads. We still write on a sheet of paper but still. I see like apple stores teaching little kids technology. I guess all the times parents said stop electronics has gone to waste. 

Third thing are the teachers. Hey teachers can retire and other teachers come in. I mean I don't know if I can say the same for my elementary school. There are a lot of teachers who were there that taught my uncle. 

Fourth thing is Common Core. I don't like Common Core. Personally I hate it. It is interfering with the learning I have been use to like during my elementary school years. I mean at least implement it to the kindergarten who will start with it not start in the middle with it. It's a hard and fast transition. You never saw it coming!
