Fahrenheit 451

Fahrenheit 451

Guy Montag is a fireman. His job is to burn books, which are forbidden, being the source of all discord and unhappiness. Even so, Montag is unhappy; there is discord in his marriage. Are books hidden in his house? The Mechanical Hound of the Fire Department, armed with a lethal hypodermic, escorted by helicopters, is ready to track down those dissidents who defy society to preserve and read books.

The classic dystopian novel of a post-literate future, Fahrenheit 451 stands alongside Orwell’s 1984 and Huxley’s Brave New World as a prophetic account of Western civilization’s enslavement by the media, drugs and conformity.

Bradbury’s powerful and poetic prose combines with uncanny insight into the potential of technology to create a novel which, decades on from first publication, still has the power to dazzle and shock.

This book was a complete TROLL!!!! I mean in the version I read; I don't know about the other ones. There's is this book that is probably one of the worst books I have ever read. That is my honest opinion. Go ahead hate me. I mean this book there is "227" pages but honestly only 158 of those pages are actually PART OF THE BOOK!!!! I hated it. It was one of the worst books I have ever read. I mean it was incomplete, irrelevant, confusing, and not precise. It was so hard to read because it was SO CONFUSING!!!!! The damn book jumps all over the place. It's like where is this suppose to go!!! I was really frustrated with this book. I strongly don't recommend this book. If you read it, I warned you. I also had to read this book for school so that's why I read it. Sometimes I don't even get why they make us read these book with awards and stuff because some of them just sucks.

I give this book a 2/5. Probably the lowest rating I have ever given.

<3 ya!!! BAI!!!!
