The Drive
You sit in the passenger seat in the front. Waiting, waiting for what seems like eternity. The drive from L.A. to San Francisco takes 7 HOURS!!!!!! And sometimes there's no connection to the radio so you're stuck in the car while your family tries to start something. You reach into the bag that you specifically brought in case this happened.You grabbed a book ," Harry Potter. Well I have only 6 hours left. I'm pretty sure I can finish the last book." you think.
You immediately dive into the book as everything around you seemed to stop. Harry Potter, Ron, and Hermione are in your head as they enter the Deathly Hallow. Harry and evil Voldemort are fighting their last battle. Yay!! Harry wins! You close your book recollecting about what had just happened through the book. " How many more hours? Dad." you ask.
" 2 hours." he sighs.
Your face shows all your emotion. You finally gather yourself again and grab a pillow from the back. You recline your chair a bit more and sleep. You stay awake 'cause you can't wait to see your cousins you haven't seen in two years. You close your eyes for a minute. You hear your brother yell," YAY!!! WE'RE ALMOST HERE!!!"
You immediately shoot straight up and look at the clock. It's 6 o'clock. You think," Yes, I still have time to game with them."
You arrive to the front of the door, nervous to see them again. You knock and instantaneously the door pops open. You are surprised by a hug by the two of your cousins and you guys immediately drop everything and race upstairs to play on your cousins' new consoles you've been dieing to play with them.
I hope you guys have more fun in the car then I do. I mean drives aren't that bad but they get worse if there's no RADIO! I've experienced these car rides at least once a year, read Harry Potter!!! I was actually inspired to do this story. Big surprised ;) <3 ya!!! BAI!!!!
