Just listen, Adam says with a voice that sounds like shrapnel.
I open my eyes wide now.
I sit up as much as I can.
And I listen.
Stay, he says.
Choices. Seventeen-year-old Mia is faced with some tough ones: Stay true to her first love—music—even if it means losing her boyfriend and leaving her family and friends behind?
Then one February morning Mia goes for a drive with her family, and in an instant, everything changes. Suddenly, all the choices are gone, except one. And it's the only one that matters.
If I Stay is a heartachingly beautiful book about the power of love, the true meaning of family, and the choices we all make.

Wow. This book was amazing. Outstanding. So you're looking from Mia's perspective and she is basically a ghost but she's not dead yet. I thought this book was good. It was like isn't she already dead. Mia has a lot on her hand. She keeps on contemplating on whether to stay or not. Through out the story there are flashbacks telling you more about her life and her family which had sadly died in the car crash :( I think the plot was amazing. I mean through out the whole book I didn't know whether she was going to die or not. I mean seeing all the things she'd seen I might have wanted to die. Maybe just a little.
There are two characters you should know about. First is Mia. So Mia is kind of the black sheep of her family. Her hair and eyes are brown. She plays the cello unlike her family who plays Rock'n Roll. Mia is very chill; she doesn't want to get big or involved with the popular kids basically. She has a boyfriend named Adam; Adam is in a semi-famous, I want to say, band. Adam love Mia; they are meant for each other. They are basically polar opposites, but what can I say opposites attract. Adam is funny. He's that guy who would make you laugh when you're around him. He's that guy who would never give up on you. He never gave up on Mia.
I give this book a 5/5. It was spectacular.
I hope you guys enjoy this book as much as I do. It was amazing; it made me cry. <3 ya! BAI!!!!!
