Top Ten Tuesday #7

This weekly meme was created by  Broke And Bookish . ------- Top Ten Unique Books I Have Read 1.  The Book Thief . It was out of ordinary; I thought it was interesting for a history book. Personally, History is not my favorite subject and I thought this book did a good job explaining the Holocaust while still keeping it interesting.  2.  I Am Princess X . You know how your mom or parents tell you to stop reading comic books. I thought this book was really good for saying that you aren't technically reading a comic book. I loved the little bits of comic book that was spread through out the book! It was so good!!!  3.  After The End . This was actually a good book. I have never read betrayal like this and I thought it was really unique.  4.  The Distance Between Us . I thought it was different from a lot of other romantic books. Not really a perspective anyone would have really thought of.  5.  Counting By 7s . ...

The Book Thief

The Book Thief Author: Markus Zusak Pages: 550 Published By: Knopf Books for Young Readers Published On: March 14, 2006 It’s just a small story really, about among other things: a girl, some words, an accordionist, some fanatical Germans, a Jewish fist-fighter, and quite a lot of thievery. . . . Set during World War II in Germany, Markus Zusak’s groundbreaking new novel is the story of Liesel Meminger, a foster girl living outside of Munich. Liesel scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can’t resist–books. With the help of her accordion-playing foster father, she learns to read and shares her stolen books with her neighbors during bombing raids as well as with the Jewish man hidden in her basement before he is marched to Dachau. This is an unforgettable story about the ability of books to feed the soul. Wow!! I am speechless.... Seriously speechless. I have never been interested in historic fiction-I don...

Image
This meme is created by  Lunar Rainbows .  --------- Which one of the 5 trials the trio faced in Philosopher's Stone would have been your downfall?  As you guys know, I am not the smartest person in the world nor am I the most athletic person. So I don't know what I would have done, but I would have some of my buddies, two to be realistic, we'll see if we make it out the other end.... alive. I would probably have failed at Snape's potion step. I am not good with magic nor will I ever be good. I suck at everything but that's the spot where I most likely will fail but with my friends I beg to differ. Because team work is life... apparently. <3 ya!!! BAI!!!

Eadlyn has always found their fairy-tale story romantic, but she has no interest in trying to repeat it. If it were up to her, she'd put off marriage for as long as possible.
